Unfortunately we can no longer rely on standard measurement charts, and so it is important to both you and to our studio that we have your measurements to ensure we achieve the best fit possible for you.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY UNIQUE FIGURE PROBLEMS THAT WE NEED TO MAKE ALLOWANCES FOR WHEN MAKING YOUR GARMENT

Decide on whether you are using centimeters or inches and use that throughout.

If you don’t think you can do this on your own, ask a friend to help, or ask a local seamstress, or maybe a local dry cleaners with a repair service.

A Simple Guide to Measuring

Your Height

For Waistcoats:
Neck to widest point over nipple line (ladies: with your bra on please)
Waist
Neck to finish length of waistcoat* (*usually covers top waistband of your trousers)

For Jackets:
All measurements for waistcoats plus :
Stomach
Hips
Maximum width of upper arm
Arm length
Length for short or ¾ length sleeve

For Dresses:
All measurements for jackets and waistcoats plus:
Waist to knee
Waist to required finished hem length

For Skirts:
Waist
Stomach
Waist to hip length
Hips
Waist to knee
Waist to required finished hem length
